Summary
Stim (short for "Stimulant", clever eh?) is a simple menu bar app that can prevent your Mac from going to sleep and has the following features:
- Enable / disable display and/or system sleep with a mouse click or a shortcut key press
- Disable display and/or system sleep for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, and 8 hours or indefinitely
- Automatically disable system sleep when running a specific program to prevent your Mac from sleeping when running a time-intensive task or program. For example, when using the Terminal via a remote session, etc.
- Choose to automatically start the app whenever your Mac boots up
- Works in macOS' Dark mode
- Fast and compact; no 30+ MB application baggage
- Compatible with macOS Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, and Sonoma
- Universal binary: runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon CPUs
